After thinking I had decided on the ~$40 EZMount Arcade Spinner II with Aluminum Plated Knob Upgrade, I just stumbled across a review of a more heavy-duty $60 spinner that just came on the scene.
As is mentioned in the reviiew, the Oscar Controls company seems to have vanished without a trace last year, and with it the only major player in top-quality Spinners was the SlikStik Tornado, which rings in at $90!!
I had originally thought to spend less than half that by getting the EZMount Arcade Spinner II.
However, with the introduction of what looks to be a mid-priced contender, the review of the ArcadeGames4U Cyclone Spinner has convinced me that I'd rather invest the extra $20 to get a longer-spinning, higher quality spinner that will plug into my Mini-PAC instead of being yet another USB input with extra drivers that may or may not get on well with my Win2K setup and Minipac drivers.
The only thing to figure out now, is how to order. ArcadeGames4U seems to not have a working catalog at present, though I'm hoping they're going to fix that soon.
