Building my own arcade cabinet has proven to be a great hobby. Since I've had to do tons of research and thinking, I figured I'd share my findings here in blog form for those who want tips. Once the project is completed, I will be making a more static site dedicated to the entire process.

- 2x 4/8-way switchable Ultimarc magstik plus (red balltop)

- 2x EZ Arcade EZMount Arcade Spinner
- 1x Ultimarc MiniPac Controller
- 1x Ultimarc OptiPac Controller (not needed?)
- 1p/2p buttons
- Wiring harness/wiring kit for minipac.

- Empty Taito cabinet
Why MetaCab?
Meta: adjective (of a creative work) referring to itself or to the conventions of its genre; self-referential. ORIGIN 1980s : from meta- in the sense [beyond] .
Cab: short for Cabinet, in particular, Arcade Cabinet.
Thus since my arcade cabinets represent multiple games within a single game, I feel they're raising classic gaming to the next level, beyond their original intent.
